Let's go to be honest. I really don't have a good experience here in the university in relation with english leassons. How to make a good class? Well, I think firts that the english that we have to learn, teach us how to be a good turist. We learn how to give and ask for adress, we talk about money, but we really don't learn how to comunicate basically. We don't talk much, so the pronunciation always it's a problem (in general terms) I think that the only way to learn a good english it's speaking with english speakers. I don't feel very well with the idea that we, like latin american people have understand like a reuirment learn english, why the gringos doesn't learn the lenguaje to the countrys where they going? A very confortable position. So, I really prefer put the attention in others knowledges.
But anyways, continue be honest no one really enjoy going to the english classes. Like all said in to the beginig of the course we only take it because it's a requerment to go out of the career. Souns really sad but it's the true. Maybe the course has to be an complementary course. In that sense the people who take it it's going to take it because really want to learn something and no like and obligation. It's make more friendly everything isnt it?
Well, anaway I apreciete the people who goes. And the teacher that goes to.

Post 9 - About study programme
Hi every one! I'm a little bit late with this because last classes I was travel because a exploratory session of a class called Antrophology of Nature. But this experiences, like the one that we had to do it's in directed relation with the topic of today, changes to the study programme. We are studing for be antrophologist, and I think that we don't hace the enough tools to deal with people. A few times we had the oportunities to go outside, to the real social world to do an Aplied Antrophologist, in oposition to the theorical one. So deal with people in the real life it's always a challenge. How to proceed correctly. We don't really know. For that reason I think that the carrear must do like a requirement that all the asignatures have to do an experiencies in the real world. Less clases under fours walls and more classes interacting with people, that it's a very complex situation.
Another thing that I think that the carreer must to pay attention with, it's the relation of the students and the teachers, there is a lot of asignatures along the career that really don't tech anything. And it's only fault of the teacher, because a good class it't always welcome, but come teacher reaaly don't know how to teach, they are not teacher actually, just academic teacher. I could enumerate more than ten asignatures that we cannnot rescue anything. And that's a shame and a pitty.

Ideas for holidays
Hi there! I has the same feeling that the
teacher, I don’t really like to make plans, because I even’t don’t know what I’m
go to lunch tomorrow. But I have some ideas about what I’m going to do for this
January and February. Here they are:
1.
I
have a friend that lives in Coelemu, a little town near to Conception in the 8°
region. In that place I’m always welcome, so go an spent a week there it’s definitely
a good idea. She has a very nice home in the middle of nothing, and we think
that it’s the perfect place to make noise, her brother has a drums and a guitar,
even a microphone, so we can play laughter and make music.
2.
I
really want to spend time with my family in La serena so, just be on my home
and share time with them it’s a good plan
3.
A
few week ago I went to “Señor de la tierra – Lord of the earth” in Salamanca 4°
region to do an investigation for the university and we share a very nice time
with the people who live there. Now I would like to get back there and really
help some people that I care. In that days we try to give back all the love and
the provision that they share with us, but I think that it’s not enough. So I
want to go to help a very nice Lady that let us water they garden, she told us
that because of them legs problems, she can’t put all the care that she want in
she’s plants, so I really want to share time with her working in her beautiful
garden

Breaking News
Two
or three days ago, I was on facebook reading stuffs and on the main page appears
a new from CNN Chile with the title of: "Isolated tribe must killed a American
missionary". I red the new and I search more information in others pages,
but the situation was similar. "An American missionary is shot to death by the most isolated
and dangerous tribe in the world". This situation it’s shows us how blind
are the social media, and the media in general. Show titles like those it means
that the people are going to feel pain and suffering because of the death of
the young boy. But what about the tribe? And what about the intention of the
guy to go the this island? Those questions don’t appear on the news at all, and
it’s worrying, because turns more big the prejudices about another way of living. I really don’t know
nothing about the people to live there, and I think that the only way to know
It’s actually know them so, the only thing that I really can do I this
situation It’s to give an opinion but from the speculation.
To inform in
a good way to the people I was write about what’s it’s evangelize and what’s
are the intention trough that. I was explain was the value of grow on a
territory that is not interfered by and state or a country, the value of the
own support that it’s a way so little in this world. This topic generates a
reflection, more than just said that they are killers.

Future Job
Where
could work an antrophologyst? Well.. that's a question that I make me all the
time. Government organizations? Private organization? an ONG? Yes, in all those
pleaces but in non at time. Why? In my personal opinion make interviews
and etnographys -that last trhee or for days- it's not a good way to put in
practice the anthropologic knowledge. (Those kind of task are the things of an anthropologist has to do it
in those spaces) . The anthropologic knowledge it’s work to try to make a
dialogue between the cultural differences of people and that it's not too easy
to made with a superficial close up with the persons that we (like an
anthropologist) are care about it. So, having in to consideration that I would
like to work not formaly like an anthropologist. I would like to put in
practice all the things that I learning now but with others tools, tools that
transform the knowledge in a lenguaje that it's easy to understen for
everybody, like the art for example. I wold like to teach using this tools, not
on a classroom in the formaly way, conversely I wold like to expand the for
walls of the schools and share important things that I consider elemental to
make this society a little more tolerant, like the feminism or topics about how
to knock down predjuices or a good awere of the body. etc.
pd: I dont' know if this it's enough to answere the question of the
topic of this sesion but, It's a very personal reflexion. Cheers!

About choose a career
hello classmates and friends!
Today it's time to talk about the thing that makes us be here in the university; our career.
If we think about it, the election of a career it's a very intresting moment. The arguments that makes you choose comes from diverses dimentions, for example, some people listeng the wishes of they parents or choose the familiar tradition. (like thoose family where there is three generations with the same work). In my case my parent didn't interfered in my election. So I was a little bit lost. I didn't know what to study, even I didn't question my self if I really want to study in a university, I just follow the current. History, English, Lenguaje, Biology were the asignatures that I love the most.
One day a teacher told me about anthropology. She said " It's the discipline that study the indigenous, the anthropologiest lives with native people". Just with that idea I aply to this career and that old idea collapsed with the years. Anthropology it's a way to see the diversity and understend it. I'm not disappointent about my election, because I take this knowledge like a tool for makes me a better person, with less prejudice and more ability to undersant the human versatility.

Let's talk about anime
It's quite difficult to me talk about movie theather world. I considere that I'm not a good person to choose movies, I always see the movies that I actually seen before. For that reason Im gonna show not a movie, but a serie that I seen a lot of times. Not because it's the best production that I seen, just because it's very enjoyable. I saw it for the firts time with my own and then my brother started to see it and I accompanied him...then the same situation with a friend. Also, my little brother dowload all the chapthers in his computer, so we always choose a random chapter to see it after lunch or after go to sleep. Well, I'm talking about an anime serie that has a hundred and fifthy chapters that last about twenty minutes each. Hunter x Hunter.
This it's a very long story that in my opinion has two principal characters. Gon and Killua. Others could say that it's only Gon the main character but all the plot they are together.
Actually the story begins when the first one decide go in a travel to found his father. But a long time passes until he made it.
It's created by Yoshihiro Togashi, and the genders are fantasy, fiction adventures and martial arts (like most the japanese productions has). All begins because in the society that Gon and Killua lives, exist this type of person that has the title of hunter, that it's a very strong person that could handles his vital energy besides has an spetial status. So this two kind wants to be a hunter but first they have to pass the exam.

WELCOME LEVEL 4
Hi everyoneeeee.
This is the first publication of the second semestre and the topic is "A country I wold like to visit". To choose somewere to go, I think in the leanguaje first. I was one time on a country were the people speak a different lenguaje and the feeling was very special. Because the people assume that you don't understand nothing about what they are saying, in my case was very difficult to speak enaglish. So now, I prefeer a experience with people that speak my same lenguaje specially to make friends a talk a lot! So, I choose Uruguay. Why Uruguay?, because of the low population. I really like the places that don't get crowded. Althoug I wold like to go because we shared a history because of the Latin America territory so there is a lot of topics to compare.
I wold like to visit the capital, Montevideo and the border with Brasil because it's more green there. I don't know much abour the country but that it's the reason to go there isn't?

Why a blogg?
A really have to say that I taked this course before (actually last year in the firts semestre) but, I didn't make it. Not just because I coudln't work in what the teacher it was a bad pearson, just because I didn't come to the clasess, anyone. For taht reason obveosly I reprobate. Now i'ts diferent and it was different (because it's the last post, and almost the last class). The provision if the classmates and the teacher was different, and i really want to say that we make it.
The enaglish its always a lenguaje that sometimes make you fell frozen, and if you think logically it's in that way because of the pronuntation... but that's the idea that we have to broke, that limits and just do it (like nike). A blogg it's inpersonal ( it really exist that word?) , so it's more easy to speak...

Chile: Supreme Court approves gender registration without sex reassignment
First of all a very short summary about this new. In a few words, the Supreme Court of Chile for the first time in history let to change the name and register gender of a transgender person without needing any surgical intervention. There isn't a name or a photo or more datails about who the person here is, (maybe because this one wants to keep their identity) but anyways it's a great news.
I choose this very short article because the conflict between the state and LGTB people is a fundamental and cultural problem, related to the aceptation of the diversity. I think that the role of an antrophologyst is to mediate this comunication problems to make a society less intolerant. It is assumed that the goberment has to provide an armony in the territory that they appropiate, they want to make a nation that integrate all the people who doesn't choose live here, so it's obvius that they have to accept this kind of request in the name of welfare. In other ways if they don't promove the aceptation, is just a sing that their system it's not working and it's useless.

A movie that I like and A movie that I hate
Hi everyone! The work for today it's to write about movies. Yeeeah we all love watch movies, more in this age that it's very easy, because of the internet. A movie that I love, it's from Wes Andersoon, he is a "gringo" film director, film producer and screenwriter. This year was premieder "The Isle of dogs" a stop-motion movie. There is a huge work behind, filmed with 15 photos per second. (just imagine how many photos it's around an hour). The scenarios are literally made with tweezers, the details of the movie are amazing. I very like the thematic were humans lost the control of the society and another species could survive without his presence.

Where are the chocolates?
Hi everyone! Today I'm going to show you a very beatiful song.
Pedro Antonio Barahona better knowing like Tata Barahona it's the singer who write, what I consider a perfect song. Where are the chocolates? it's a very metaphorical song. Usually, the songs that he witre mix a musical part and a theatrical part. In this case, the song has two choruses, one that talks about a family in a park -very romantic- and a part where tells about a very violent interrogation, like alluding a scene of a dictatiorship, where the person who interrogates ask: WHERE ARE THE CHOCOLATES?, I KNOW THAT YOU KNOW. Is no too common to hear this song in his shows, some people says that it's very sad for him to sing it and hard to his voice.
I really like the idea that he is only with his own and his guitar and the songs sound like nothing more in it is necesary, his voice and the voice of the guitarr full all the enviroment. Thats a good singer, the one thats makes you feel like is nothing left, that the song is completely perfect.
Bad Trip
Hi there... A few weeks ago my family and I traveld to the North of Chile. We arrived to Iquique and then we moved to Arica. I´ve never been there, and it was amanizing.Well, this picture is not too amazing, actually it´s a picture that shows the most intense moment of the trip.
One day we go up to the Altiplano to know Chungará Lake and Parinacota and Pompare Volcanos. When we just got there, a territori located 4.500 meters high my little brother started to throw up, he was destroyed. "La Puna" catched him in a very bad way. We had to drive down quickly to the posta of Putre (emergency room), the neerest town, trough a very curved road. Vicente, our apunado, was writhing in pain.
Now the picture makes me laugh a little but in the moment we were very worried about him.
Finally with a little of oxygen he felt very well.

Friday's Presentation
Last Friday we hade an oral presentation were everybody reflect about how we see Santiago, related with each area of study. The true is that I exepct a very boring hour with a lot of theory, but I think that the classmates made a great work landing the work to they own experiences. We see a lot of problems about the city, I didn't remember anything good about their perspectives, contamination, crowded pleaces, strees and smog. Sorry, I'm lying, know I remember two partners talked about the green areas and squares, that was nice. Well, about the negative problems... that's something, something big and important. We are detecting huges conflicts thats metropolis brings and not only with the enviroment, with personal life as well.
Even if they are pure negative ideas, there is a positive light behind them. Yung people are aweiking and is taking awarennes about social problems.

Ideas about the future
When I was a child I didn't think very much on to the future even if someone asked me, "what do you want to be when you are an adult", or "what job do you want when you grow up?", I answered, how I could know that now?, my future me is going to know that. Nevertheless, "what do you want to be when you grow up?" it's one of the most repetitive questions in the chilhood, so I had my wildcard, and I said I wanna be the person who takes care of animals in the zoo, just for imagine me living sourrounded by animals. That idea remained on my mind even when I wasn't a child. When I red a book about the life of Jane Goodall, a primatologist I really want be like her and live with chimpancees in Gombe's jungle.
When cames the moment to choose what to do after finish the school, I just knew that I wanna be near to other kind of thought, not like modern persons thought, I wanted learn about ancient cultures. So, without know nothing formal about the carreer I aplyed for antrophology in the university of Chile. Like a second option I aplyed for History and Geography in university of La Serena. Finally I'm on the firts option.
The situation in real life was very diferent, I made very wrong expectatives on my mind about the carrer, but finally the antrophology surprised me and it´s not to bad, even I like very much. I dream for the future be able to teach all the knowledge that I learnd thanks to antropology to young people and all the persons that could listening about.

Something like a biography
Hi there! This is a kind of biography, so I'm goin to introduce myself. I'm Sofia Caldichoury Mella. I'm part of a family with 8 members. Two dogs, one cat and five humans. Today I live in Santiago with one of my brothers because of the university studies, but all of my family lives in La Serena, the city where I lived all my childhood. When I moved to Santiago on my own I spent two years living with my grandparents, it was a really nice time with them. But now my brother and I shared an apartment. We are a lovely community without gender rolls.
I was born on the 24th of October in 1996. so I'm 20 years old. Today I'm on my 4th year of Social Antrophology in University of Chile, just in the middle of the programme, (that scares me a little. I don´t want to finish the studies yet).
The time that I don´t spend in university I like to spend it in nice conversations, nice walks and nice laughs. I really like dancing too, so any kind of rhythms are always welcome.
